Features · Laterna

CinemaOptional

One line is enough.

Type a few words you heard in a film: Laterna finds the film and opens it right on the scene. The index is built overnight from the subtitles.

BooksOptional

And now, books.

The EPUB files of your Jellyfin libraries, grouped by series, author and genre, in a reader made your way: light, sepia, dark or black, one page or two, and the right page on all your devices.

Playback

Two languages on screen.

A second subtitle sits above the main one, each with its own offset. To learn a language, or to watch together.

PlaybackBeta

Voices that stay clear.

Dialogue enhancement separates voices from the background, equalises and lifts them. The background dips while people speak.

SharingAdmin

Share one film, and only that.

A link, a password and an end date. The person watches that title with the same player as the household, and the link can be revoked at any time.

DevicesBeta

Your film comes on the plane.

A film, an episode or a whole season, in 720p or 1080p, with subtitles and previews. The position goes back to the server as soon as the network returns.

Everything Laterna does.
